Nate Bargatze

NATE BARGATZE was born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, and grew up watching his father perform as a world-class comedic magician. Deciding to follow his footsteps into the entertainment business, Nate started taking the New York comedy scene by storm. His style of dry, deadpan humor is instantly contagious and ultimately uproarious.

Nate made his television debut on CMT’s Comedy Stage and has since skyrocketed into stardom. He had his own Comedy Central Presents special and was twice featured on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Nate made a splash winning the Boston Comedy Festival as well as New York’s Comedy Festival, and received critical acclaim by The Hollywood Reporter at the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. He has performed on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and has been showcased in other big-name New York clubs such as Caroline’s on Broadway, New York Improv, Comedy Village, Stand-Up New York, Rascals, and Zanies to name a few. He starred on MSG, NY, wrote for Spike’s Video Game Awards, and has been heard across the country on XM radio.

Nate makes it a point to use his talent to support various charitable organizations. He has worked with Every Kid Counts, The Michael Finney Foundation, Gift of Life, and Soles4Souls, which collects shoes for victims in devastated areas of the world. Nate also sets aside time to travel overseas to perform for our troops in Iraq. A member of Comics Ready to Entertain, Nate helps to provide a moral boost for those troops at the frontlines and in remote areas that are often overlooked.

It is obvious that Nate’s great sense of humor and passion for entertainment were encouraged by his upbringing. “It’s his fault,” he jokes of how his dad influenced his love for performance. However, it’s no surprise that Nate is easily carving his own way into the entertainment industry. With a matter-of-fact attitude and distinct take on life, Nate’s standup is a must-see!
