Cory Kahaney

CORY KAHANEY is every woman—mother, daughter, wife… ex-wife. This year, she appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Bonnie Hunt Show, The Joy Behar Show, and has made five appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Other television credits include her standup special on Comedy Central Presents, The View, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.  Cory also appeared in the first season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and made it to the finale, where host Jay Mohr called her performance "flawless."

Cory’s off-Broadway hit "The J.A.P. Show" ran for six months in New York City and continues to tour the country under a new name, "The Princesses of Comedy." Her new show, "Pastrami on Rye with Mayo," about the last four comics who work the Catskills, is winning rave reviews. Cory conceived and developed "The Radio Ritas," a nationally syndicated radio show for Greenstone Media, a company created by Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda to provide radio programming for women.

A favorite at several prestigious comedy festivals, the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival headlined her three times. Her one-person show, "Having it all and other Myths," premiered at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and was subsequently produced as a half-hour special for HBO, which lead to development deals with Warner Brothers and CBS.

Voted best comedian in NYC by Backstage Magazine and best female comedian by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets, this impressive performer continues as every woman—and a whole lot more.
